Hotels in Reykjavik and flight to Egilsstadir
The symposium will be held in Egilsstadir east Iceland.
Air
Iceland flies five to six times a day to
Egilsstadir during winter time. The last flight from Reykjavik
to Egilsstadir is around 1900h. Attendees arriving in
Keflavik in the afternoon 10th of March have to book a flight to
Egilsstadir and fly the same day. An alternative is to fly the
first flight next morning and arrive in Egilsstadir just before the
symposium start.
Attendees arriving earlier than 10th of March have to book a hotel
in Reykjavik.
Most flights from Iceland to Europe are early in
the morning and to America in the afternoon. Attendees, not
participating in the post symposium tour, must be aware of this and
organize hotels if needed.
Flight from Akureyri
Attendees who will fly from
Akureyri to
Reykjavik on Saturday 15th. (after the
post symposium tour)
will be booked on the flight from Akureyri
at 1840h in the afternoon.
Post symposium tours
Please notice that the minimum number of
participant in the super jeep tour is 12 pers. and 15. pers. in the
tour to lake Myvatn and Akureyri.
